These Terms and Conditions govern the Facilitation Services that Green Pages will make available to you. These Terms and Conditions (also, “Agreement”) contain important information about your legal rights and obligations and are a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, the “Customer”) and Green Pages  (“we”, “us”, “Green Pages”).

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our platform. By accessing or using the Green Pages platform or clicking “Accept” when prompted, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, including our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the website. If you are using our services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Green Pages platform.

1. About Us

Green Pages operates the Green Pages platform to facilitate introductions between potential customers and professionals across a wide range of services.

2. Definitions

“Green Pages”: the online platform facilitating service provider introductions.

“Customer” / “you”: anyone using the platform to find professionals.

“Professional”: service providers offering services to Customers via Green Pages.

“Facilitation Services”: the service we provide by connecting Customers to Professionals based on submitted requests.

“Customer Contract”: the separate agreement between Customer and Professional for service delivery.

“Services”: the services rendered by the Professional to the Customer.

3. Use of the Facilitation Services

3.1 Green Pages allows you to submit a service request. Our system identifies Professionals who may be able to meet your needs.

3.2 When you submit a request, Green Pages may verify your contact information and location. Inaccurate or unverifiable requests may be rejected.

3.3 Verified requests are shared with suitable Professionals (up to five), who may contact you directly. You may also contact them.

3.4 We do not guarantee that Professionals can meet your requirements. You are solely responsible for assessing suitability before entering a Customer Contract.

3.5 Green Pages is not party to any Customer Contract. We do not supervise, direct, or control the Professional’s work.

3.6 Reviews of Professionals may be submitted by Customers but must be truthful, respectful, and compliant with applicable laws. Offensive or misleading reviews will be removed.

4. Termination

4.1 You may stop using Green Pages at any time. If you’ve created an account, contact us by email or phone to request closure.

4.2 Terminating this Agreement does not terminate any contract between you and a Professional.

4.3 We reserve the right to restrict or revoke access to our platform if:

            •          You breach these terms;

            •          You provide false or misleading information;

            •          Your use poses legal or reputational risks;

            •          Required by law enforcement or regulatory bodies.

5. Professional Listings & Ranking

5.1 Professionals are listed based on a default algorithm that factors in:

            •          Profile completeness and service history;

            •          Positive reviews;

            •          Response rate to customer inquiries;

            •          General platform activity.

6. Data Protection

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We comply with applicable data protection laws in Cameroon.

7. Liability

7.1 You understand that Green Pages only facilitates introductions. All Services are provided solely by the Professional.

7.2 We are not liable for the acts, omissions, errors, delays, or breaches by Professionals.

7.3 We do not endorse or guarantee the quality or outcome of any Services provided.

7.4 Our liability is not excluded for:

            •          Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;

            •          Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

            •          Any other matter not permitted to be excluded by Cameroonian law.

7.5 We are not liable for:

            •          Loss of profit or business opportunity;

            •          Indirect or consequential loss;

            •          Business interruption or data loss.

7.6 You agree to indemnify Green Pages against claims or losses arising from your use of the Facilitation Services.

8. General Provisions

8.1 These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.

8.2 You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent.

8.3 If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder will remain in force.

8.4 Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.

8.5 Communication will primarily occur via email or notices on our platform. You agree to electronic communication for all contractual purposes.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cameroon.
